The aim of this training is to allow you to function better so as you can carry out all your daily work and lifestyle activities with more ease, comfort, energy and less pain.
What you will learn:
- How habitually tight muscles contribute to restricted movement, stiffness, pain, recurring injury, fatigue and poor posture.
- How the nervous system responds to daily stresses, activities and trauma organising the body into 3 reflexive patterns of holding these tight muscles.
- How the brain can reprogramme these tight muscles to release and lengthen, restoring their function.
- How some gentle, safe self-care movements will allow you to have more awareness and control over these tight muscles allowing your body to function more efficiently.
- How the Hanna Somatics approach to pain relief and freedom of movement is different from any other method you may have tried.
