South African Cultural Day

The Manawatu Multicultural Council in collaboration with the South African Community in Palmerston North will hold the event to promote cultural awareness, inclusion and cohesion.

Palmerston North South African community will present their cultural performances, and activities to engage with the wider community. They will share their cultural food and music with the wider community.

The community will get to know more about South Africa as a country and understand the South African community better which can help overcome prejudice and misunderstanding.
