It's the New Zealand Grand Prix weekend and not only one of the biggest weekends of the whole motorsport year but also the climax of the 2020 Castrol Toyota Racing Series.

New Zealand is lucky enough to be one of only two countries outside of the Formula 1 World Championship lucky enough to be allowed to call its major single seater race of the season an official FIA Grand Prix and with the category being the best training ground in the world at this time of year for the F1 stars of tomorrow, the quality in the field will be second to none.

It's the first time the new generation Toyota FT-60 car will have raced at the track too, and with more downforce, more power and more grip from tyres than ever before, it's safe to assume the lap times are going to be absolutely blistering!

The Grand Prix will be the final event on the weekend schedule and will take place on the Sunday afternoon, and there is plenty to look forward to in the build up to the main events with some spectacular racing and action guaranteed at this historic race track.

Also on the packed card are the stunning BNT V8s, which always put on a great show for the fans around Circuit Chris Amon Manfeild. There is machinery from Ford, Holden, Toyota and Nissan across two classes and some exceptional driving talent likely to be on show from both sides of the Tasman as the penultimate round of the championship is played out.

The Best Bars Toyota 86 Championship is another that will see drivers slugging it out to try and secure title honours as the clock ticks on the championship. With only one more round after this one, the battle for victory will be intense, especially with two Toyota 86 cars up for grabs as the top series prizes! This season is turning into a true Trans-Tasman battle between Australia and New Zealand and the racing.

You'll have had just about enough time to catch your breath after all of that before the NEXEN Tyre Mazda Racing field takes to the track for three races over the weekend and if that isn't enough, we also got the RYCO 24•7 V8 Utes Championship, the spectacular ENZED Central Muscle Cars, the Pirelli Porsche Championship and both grids of the TRADEZONE GTRNZ category - GT1/2 and GT3/4 on the card for the weekend.

In short, there's something to suit the taste of every petrolhead and every sports fan this weekend and action guaranteed from every single class on the bill.

It should be fast, it should be spectacular and it'll keep you on the edge of your seat. Can you handle the jandal?
