Hear from a panel of people in different phases of their side hustles - those still in it, to those who have transitioned it to their full-time gig. Learn more about the little things you can do to start your own side hustle, if you’re so inspired.

Meet The Speakers...

Two things led Rowan Olckers to his side hustle - clients asking about marketing and the use of technology to increase productivity. Throughout his career, Rowan has worked with every size business from multi-million dollar corporates to dairy owners. His background includes sales, marketing, business development and business analysis which came together as Fire Media, a game-changing digital marketing agency.

Aaron Taylor is a specialist in back-end software development using the Microsoft technology stack. He works at Efinity Digital during the day and has been spending his free time building DO BOX, a self-service smart space that uses the right tools and technologies to augment your experience. He is a keen problem solver and is adept at seamlessly integrating solutions with external software and services.

Reanna Mudgway is fairly new to start ups and side hustles, but after studying Agricultural Science and Veterinary Nursing she decided to harness her enthusiasm for nature and the environment to pursue growing sustainable cut flowers for local florists. She currently balances her time between Briley Flower Farm and a local dairy farm. Reanna enjoys the challenging and changeable nature of farming, and the opportunity to engage and help her customers.

Abbey Macfie of Tartan Rose Cakery & Deli started selling slices of cake at The Seaside Market 5 years ago. Her side hustle soon became a full-time job which then helped her create a cafe and cakery where she employs full-time chefs and baristas and is still kept very busy with cake orders
