Steiner School Fair

Excitement is brewing and energy is building towards the Steiner School Fair.

****WET WEATHER UPDATE***
It looks like Sunday might be wet. Never mind! We’ve learnt from last year and everything is in place to make sure it's going to be great - whatever the weather!
If it's raining, as well as all our great usual indoor events like candle dipping, flower garlands, the cookie garden, the little people's room and amazing crafts, we’ll have two indoor music venues – amped and acoustic, storytelling sessions from local legend Sean O'Connor at 11:30am and 2pm, and some incredible displays of the work created this year by the talented children of the school.
And if you come dressed for whatever weather Sunday brings you’ll not miss out on the chance to win some of our amazing games of courage prizes, or meet Dwalin from The Hobbit himself (he’s surprisingly tall).
So, make sure you join us and enjoy the shine through the showers - it’s going to be a glorious day at the Fair!

It is springtime, which is when the Raphael House Rudolf Steiner School community hold their much-anticipated annual fund-raiser. It is an event filled with unique and wonderous handmade craft, toys and Christmas goodies for sale. The bustling scene is set with live music, delicious food, quality coffee and fun activities and games for children of all ages with an adventure around every corner. Find the ‘pocket lady’ or ‘pocket gent’ and enjoy our most popular activity every year – candle dipping!
Getting there early will see you making the best finds.

The school is just a few minutes up the hill from Melling Station. Avoid the stress and congestion on Matuhi St (and others) with our Fair Day Shuttle Bus Service. Park your car in the Melling Station carpark and jump on the shuttle bus instead. So much easier, and better for the planet! Round trips every 15 minutes, starting at 9.30am. Last trip from Raphael House to Melling at 3.45pm. Gold Coin donation, per trip, per person.
