Craft a beautiful silver pendant set with a stone.
You will create a simple bezel setting for a semi precious stone, set in sterling silver.
Chains may be purchased at the class or you can thread it on a simple waxed nylon cord, or your own chain.
All materials for the setting are provided.
The class is designed for complete beginners to jewellery making to work with the tutors’ supervision and create their project. Those with some experience will also benefit greatly from this course as they can advance their setting and soldering skills under Vaune’s expert guidance.
Course fee is $245 which includes the stone and materials for the project. Due to constraints on time and tools (as we bring the workshop with us) projects for this class are set by Vaune, but students will be able to choose from a variety of stones. Bezel setting is an ideal technique to learn for beginner jewellers who may want to learn to work on their own at home.
Class is from 10am - 4pm on Saturday and from 10am - 1pm on Sunday.
