Celebrate Matariki with this free bone carving workshop with Maha Tomo. This tikanga based beginner’s workshop will introduce you to various carving and design techniques. Learn how to use files, drills and polishing tools. Create your own mini Marama Moon pendant out of beef bone.
Participants will complete their pendant using traditional lashing and binding techniques found in Māori object art.
