Studio One Toi Tū is temporarily closed from Tuesday 24 March in an effort to stop the spread of COVID-19. All events, exhibitions and courses are cancelled until further notice.
In line with the government’s announcement today, Auckland Council has temporarily closed all arts, community and event venues from 5pm, Monday 23 March. This applies to all community centres, arts facilities, community galleries, theatres and venues for hire (unless required to support the government’s response to COVID-19). Hone your skills in traditional drawing techniques and simplify the challenge of capturing a likeness in this stimulating course. Using reference materials supplied by the tutor and a photo of your choice, you will learn methods for starting a drawing and how to build on your work using shading, outline and texture. The tutor will recommend tips for correcting shape and will help make your drawings look true to life.
Class 12 max.
