Sunday Sanctuary is your space to simply just be. We will take the time to slow down, welcome stillness and tune in to the wisdom of the body.
Flowing from a deep sense of knowledge held in every cell, we will work to gently restore the balance in both body and mind, re-connecting to our true nature that is always blissful & bright when we give it the space to shine.
Below is a little about what to expect from the journey:
- Guided meditation: taking the time to settle into stillness
- Pranayama practice: re-connect & tap in to your rhythm
- Gentle yoga flow: listening to the subtle energy body
- Yoga Nidra: reconnecting to the bliss & wisdom within
- Soul food: a beautiful lunch @TheHangar, Dixon Street. We will enjoy a plant based meal and drink
About the facilitator:
Sonia Pearson's favorite mantra is Anando Ham, translated as 'I am bliss'. Since first hearing this mantra in India it has been the guiding force behind her personal practice and classes. "We often look externally in the quest for peace but miss the opportunity that each breath brings to be present with each perfect moment. The tools that yoga provides have been like magic to me and I am passionate about creating spaces that provide an opportunity to re-connect to our true nature - blissful & full of peace!
