General Information:
The Tai Tapu Garden Tour celebrates seven beautiful local gardens, from historic to modern, native to exotic, full of colour, texture and diversity.
Come and enjoy a day in Tai Tapu, nestled in the foothills of Christchurch, only a 20 minute drive from the city centre.
Please bring your tickets to Tai Tapu School from 9:15am on the day, to receive your official map to gain entry to the gardens. The gardens will open at 10am.

Please also check our Facebook page and website for more information about other points of interest on the tour; chat with the Happy Gardener Rachel Vogan, an art & photography exhibition, our famous plant stall, and the delicious lunch options available in Tai Tapu.

All proceeds from this biennial event will go to the Tai Tapu School PTA in support of teaching resources for the school.
This event will be on rain or shine and will be held in Level 1 or 2 Covid-19 Alert levels. Social distancing rules will apply.
In the event of Christchurch being placed in Alert Level 3 or 4, we would have to cancel the event. In the event of a cancellation Tai Tapu School would refund all ticket purchases minus the Eventfinda booking fee ($1.75) and credit card fee (2.5%).

Ticket options:
*A Collection of Gardens - A collection of six gardens in Tai Tapu will be offered as a self-guided tour package at $25 (+ $1.75 Eventfinda fee and 2.5% credit card fee).
Door sales will be available on the day for the collection of gardens, at $35 per ticket (unless sold out prior).
Children under 13 are free entry.

*Otahuna Garden Tour and Collection of Gardens
