The Course:
The course starts at Te Ari (The Bluff), on Ninety Mile Beach located on the west coast of Northland New Zealand. It will end at Ahipara, in front of the Paripari Domain which is 85.2km by road or 62km via the beach from the start point. The terrain is a mixture of hard and soft sand, with dunes to the left and ocean to the right. The tide will be out at the time of the first races commencing.
The first team runner will be required to run the longest distance of 14km with the rest of the team running the same distance of 12km.
Your team must supply their own 4x4 vehicle with a designated team driver who will be there to support the running members by driving along the beach to the start point of each leg.
Race Details:
Distance 1 X 14 km & 4 X 12 km (the first leg is 14km to align with aid stations)
Minimum age 14 years as of 7 March 2020
