Monologue Writing Workshop.
Award-winning playwright and 2019 University of Otago Burns Fellow, Emily Duncan will lead a three-hour workshop on how to write a monologue.
Taking inspiration from the props, scripts, and special items in the James Cameron – Challenging the Deep exhibition, Emily will guide you through techniques for developing characters and monologues based on the people and events featured in the exhibition.
The workshop includes special access to the exhibition outside public opening hours and morning tea. Dive Into Writing is perfect for those wanting to kick-start their New Year’s writing resolutions and would also make an excellent Christmas present.
$60 (includes morning tea and all day admission to James Cameron – Challenging the Deep exhibition).
