The four preceding “Beauty of New Zealand” exhibitions by Charlie J were held in Seoul and were all sponsored by the New Zealand Embassy. Since June 2019 Charlie has lived in Silverdale allowing him more time to travel in New Zealand and portray his trips on canvas. Charlie is a very well-known artist in Korea, who has just started his new phase of life in New Zealand at the age of 73. He is ready to invite everyone into his art world built on his pure affection towards New Zealand, complemented with soulful touches of oriental essence.
