About the Course:
Negative thinking can become a strong habit of mind which is difficult to break. Learn methods to replace even our most stubborn habits with profoundly beneficial ways of thinking that lead only to peace and happiness. Suitable for beginners. Everyone welcome!

The Teacher
Kelsang Luma is a Buddhist nun and the Resident Teacher of Kalpa Bhadra Buddhist Centre in Christchurch and is Geshe-las representative in the South Island. She has been ordained under Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso Rinpoche for almost 15 years and has dedicated her life to studying and practicing his instructions and helping people solve their problems through Buddha’s timeless instructions.

Luma gives clear and practical teachings, sharing her deep understanding of the Buddhist path. Through her teachings and example she shows us how we can easily integrate Buddha’s wisdom into our modern lives.

Cost: $30 – includes morning tea

What to expect at a class:
- These classes are based on Buddha’s teachings on the mind, but you do not need to be a Buddhist to attend, or to benefit from them.
- There is no physical exercise involved and you can choose to sit either in a chair or on a cushion.
- These classes are suitable for all levels of experience.
