Have you heard the one about the baritone that must die? You probably have - it’s what usually has to happen. But I don’t think you will have heard it quite like this.
It’s early 2019 (a pre-COVID world before social distancing complicated everyone's love lives) and our baritone finds himself trawling the dating sites for someone to make his heart sing. He’s tall, he’s handsome and he’s clever* enough to come up with a plan to set up more than just one date in the hopes of finding himself “the one.”
Things start to go awry when these multiple dates begin to uncover that they have a bit more in common with each other than he had hoped.
With some gorgeous treats from Mozart, Menotti and Donizetti, mixed with some Rodgers and Hammerstein and a few glorious ensembles this will be a show that you won’t want to miss! Stay tuned for more information about our fabulous local cast.
*Turns out he’s not actually all that clever. Heckling (the baritone) is encouraged and welcomed.
