Presented by Professor Sir Partha Dasgupta
Professorial Fellow in Monetary and Financial Economics
Professor Sir Partha Dasgupta, the Frank Ramsey Emeritus Professor of Economics at the University of Cambridge, will discuss the link between biodiversity and economic growth. Professor Dasgupta has been appointed by the United Kingdom Chancellor of the Exchequer to lead an independent global review on the Economics of Biodiversity which aims to assess the economic benefits of biodiversity globally, assess the economic costs and risks of biodiversity loss, and identify actions that can enhance biodiversity and deliver economic prosperity.
