Journey into to the colourful world of the Pop Up Penguins.

Get the kids together and have some fun finding Christchurch’s newest residents. This family friendly scavenger hunt beginning at the Christchurch Botanical Gardens will take you on a quest to discover a waddle of Pop Up Penguins located across the Christchurch CBD.

Participants will have the choice of two scavenger hunt sheets, one aimed for younger children and one for older children and adults. These sheets will have questions relating to penguins on the trail, once completed bring these back to the Cholmondeley registration tent to receive your small prize. One entry = one prize, if you have multiple children who wish to complete this scavenger hunt please purchase the required amount of entry forms.

There are two sessions available to be purchased 10:30am- 12:30pm, and 12:30pm- 2:30pm. Please note this is for registration purposes only, you are not required to finish the scavenger hunt in this time. The registration tent will remain open until 3:30pm for people to collect their prize.

Start & Finish Location: Cholmondeley pop up beside the children’s playground, Botanical Gardens.
Time: Registration tent opens at 10:30 and closes at 3:30pm.
Price: $10 per online entry or $12 on the day (one entry = one prize)

This event is being run as a fundraising initiative for Cholmondeley Children's Centre (recipient charity for the Pop Up Penguins auction). Cholmondeley is 80 per cent community funded and we rely heavily on partnering with our community to raise $2.3 million in annual operating costs in order to support vulnerable children in Canterbury.
