The Luck of the Irish
Dame Fiona Kidman on Albert Black

Albert Black emigrated from Belfast to New Zealand in 1953. Two years later the twenty-year-old was executed, convicted of killing another man. His short life, the circumstances of his death and its impact on New Zealand history are explored. The talk is based on Kidman's award-winning book This Mortal Boy.
