Dave Charnley (PNCC Urban Designer) and Jason Pilkington ( PNCC Parks & Reserves Planner) will host a walking tour to Turitea Pā and talk about the city’s journey back to embracing the Manawatū River as our main city highway.
They will share with you our city vision for the river, our partnership with Rangitāne in realising the vision as well as some sites of significance along the river currently under development.
Meet at 4pm at the He Ara Kotahi bridge. Expect walk to take about 1.5 hours return.
