A mid-week, mid- month burst of energy to get you through. In these gigs, The New Zealand School of Music (NZSM) Big Bands and various ensembles take the stage, under the musical direction of Rodger Fox. The NZSM produces many of NZ's great exports with former students forming bands such as; Fat Freddy's Drop, Drax Project, TOI, Trinity Roots and more. Rodger's reputation precedes him, not only is he one of NZ's foremost Jazz trombonists, Jazz Educator & working musicians. He also directs the brass and large ensemble papers in the Jazz Faculty at the NZSM.
