For our final event of the year we have one of our own (Department of Physiology) sharing her research on the maternal brain.

Caring for a newborn baby is hard work! Mammalian females give birth to highly dependent offspring that require substantial investment by the mother to survive.

This month we have Dr Rosie Brown explaining how the female brain changes during pregnancy to give her little ones all the care they need to thrive.
