This weeks show is headliner by comedy legend Jeremy Elwood and MC’d by Billy T award winner Rhys Mathewson!
Elwood has won too many awards to name them all here. Born in Canada, raised in the UK and residing in New Zealand, Jeremy Elwood has been performing for more than 15 years. Elwood continues to observe, question and dissect our society, and turn what he finds into comedy gold.
Jeremy Elwood has headlined comedy clubs across New Zealand, Australia, Indonesia, Singapore, American and his native Canada, as well as appearing regularly on NZ Television and Radio. A regular panelist on both TV3's "7Days" and Radio New Zealand's "The Panel" he is well known for serving up hilarious stand up infused with intelligence and thought.
Rhys the youngest ever winner of the coveted Billy T Comedy Award in 2010. Seen regularly on 7 Days and The Project, a winner of the Comedy Guild award for Best MC and a nominee for Best Male Comedian, he’s one of the most recognisable faces in New Zealand Comedy.
Rhys' charm, self deprecating humour, his wonderful story telling talents combined with his perfectly delivered one-liners and physical presence make him a joy to watch.
