Make a pair of warm Merino wool slippers for the cold days ahead. This event will be held at a boutique hotel in Rotorua with only 6 spots available. While sipping tea or coffee you will be shown various felting techniques and there will be a brief overview of the slipper making process. You will be guided through the felt-making process in a beginner style step-by-step. After we have laid out our wool, we will spend time decorating the surface of our slippers using luxurious artisan and New Zealand Merino wool fibre. We will finish by shrinking, fulling and felting the fibre into a beautiful pair of durable felt slippers to take home.

Note: Vigorous rolling is necessary to shrink and felt the slippers. Back and forth movement, using arms and shoulders is required.
