Trap Box Building Day

Hi there, come along to Mitre10 Taupiri Street, Te Kuiti and learn how to build a rat trap/tracking tunnel box! Mitre10 are supplying all the materials (thank you heaps Mitre10!) and for a small donation you can take your trap and box home with you too. This is working towards a project which is under development... a rat free Te Kuiti! A local community group are really keen to see as many traps in backyards as they can. Wouldn't it be so neat to see our beautiful native Birds cruising up the streets in Te Kuiti?

Please come along, bring the family for a sausage sizzle and a chat with our friendly Rangers. Perhaps even build a whole bunch of boxes so we can get them out in the community and work towards that Predator free 2050 goal!
