Selwyn Community Education is based at Selwyn College, Kohimarama, Auckland.
Join this one-day course and learn how to use pen, watercolours and pencil to create your own personal travel journal. During this course you will learn how to create your very own sketch style, connect with your subject and capture the energy and diversity of your travel in spontaneous sketches.
In 2020, courses are available on either Saturday 28 March or Sunday 20 September 2020.
You don't have to be an accomplished artist to join this course, you just need to have enthusiasm to want to learn something new.
Expected learning outcomes:
- Sketching with a pen
- Applying colour with a pencil
- Connecting with your subject
Who should attend? Anyone with the desire to create a travel journal.
What should you bring? Your lunch. We will provide tea and coffee in the staff-room for breaks. All materials for this course are included in the course fee.
