Otago Settlers Association Tuesday Club meets once a month for morning tea and a guest speaker. This month’s speaker is Caroline Davies, editor and founder of the online journal, Down in Edin Magazine. “Our mission is to inspire appreciation for the good around us and demonstrate how we can live more harmoniously with each other and the world. When we take the time to see and appreciate beauty, we are more likely to take good care of what we have and each other. Stories about arts, culture and thoughtful living also give us a vision and hope that our global issues can be solved from a local level upward.”
In this presentation Caroline will share images from back issues, and talk about how the magazine came about, its ethos, along with a story or two from this quarterly journal.
