Step back in time to Roman-occupied Carthage 203 AD for Unbreakable, a true story of courage, faith, love and hope complete with gladiators, dungeons and even a dragon!
Unbreakable is a historical drama about courageous real-life heroes who had to face difficult choices in a world where the state had ultimate power and personal life decisions had dire consequences.
Through the performing arts we can have a glimpse of how life was and experience some of the situations faced by many in the classical world.
An original work with mostly original music, Unbreakable is replete with twenty-three songs and explores new ground in musical entertainment with all local composers and performers.
Even the costuming is local, with the entire company dressed in garments and fabrics sourced entirely from second hand shops and donors in the area.
Adapted for stage and directed by Linda Marais.
Indomitable spirit, immovable faith, incredible courage, these were the heroes of 203AD, they were Unbreakable.
