Church Road welcomes you to experience ‘Versatility of the Grape’ during vintage.
Harvest is in full swing and the team will be bringing in plenty of grapes. This is your chance to get up close and personal with vintage 2020. Guided by Church Road’s Chief winemaker Chris Scott, you'll be invited to taste juice, fermenting wines, and witness the winery in action!
WSET certified Cellar Door Managers Chelsea Abramoff and Al Donald will take you through the story behind Church Road and give insight into Hawke’s Bay as a region and our key vineyards. You will also learn about some of our new projects, like our Brandy, Fortified Wines and Balsamic Vinegar.
Your Versatility of the Grape Experience will be followed by a Church Road tasting of award winning wines and a selection of cheeses to share in the Tom McDonald Cellar.
Upon conclusion of your experience you will receive special discounts on any wine purchases to take home on the night.
