We are super excited to announce that we will be holding the first Vogelmorn Couch Sessions on Sunday 6th December in the cosy Upper Space of the Vogelmorn Bowling Club.
A series of intimate gigs that are focused on creating a space where music matters, the Couch Sessions are an opportunity for us to put our phones away & turn our taringa on, so as to respect the artists performing & to tune in to the magic of live music.
Kicking the Couch Sessions off with a bang, we'll be serenaded by the following talented humans;
Violet Hirst
Violet’s music longs to paint you a beautiful sunset of dreamscapes, think purple mountains in a pale sky. Songs from a young woman on loss & renewal. Joined by a double bass and cajon drum, we’re keeping things soft and intimate.
Casual Healing
Casually Healing U with this Surfy-Indy-Raga-Hop, Nikau takes it upon himself to offer a 7th chord creamy, melancholic dreamy musical experience. A tasteful collection of refreshing original music and hand-plucked covers, you can dance, cry, laugh or dance-cry-laugh to the mellow-musical-mindfulness of Casual Healing.
Michael Llewellyn & The Oh My Darlings
Soft and raspy, poetic and bouncy, Michael Llewellyn & the Oh my Darlings are a Wellington-based band contrived primarily from butterscotch and smoke.
The format will be relaxed with couches & pillows scattered around the place and the event will be BYO you can sip on a bev while you tune in. Homemade pizzas (vegan & vege options available) will also be available purchase on the night to keep those tummies happy.
