Wairau Estuary Big Day Out

Milford WEEPS (Wairau Estuary Environment Protection Society) are holding a Big Day Out on Sunday 29th November 2020 at Milford Beach Reserve from 11 am - 3pm.

Milford WEEPS aims to make Wairau Estuary and Milford Beach free of raw sewage and safe for swimming at all times.

We have local environmental groups joining us on the day to showcase their conservation projects. We will have a hands-on fun-filled day for the whole family. There will be experts present to advise on how we the public, can reduce stormwater overflow and maintain secure wastewater systems.

There will also be an opportunity to put your views to our local MPs, Local Board, Councillors and Auckland City representatives.
