Welding - Intermediate

This class is designed for student's wanting to improve their skills in the Gas Tungsten Arc (TIG) process.

Tig welding is where the real money is for people wanting to get into the welding trade, and it is the most versatile welding for the home handy man as well "It only takes a minute to change a AC/DC Tig welder from steel and stainless steel welding to aluminium settings"

Emphasis will be placed on the student's ability to prepare material and perform welding with steel & aluminium. We will cover the most commonly used welding techniques; horizontal butt, inside & outside corners.

Limit four students per course Students are encouraged to bring their own welders, however there will be two supplied. Material cost extra.
