Calling all skaters and picnic goers, come along and enjoy an afternoon of skating at your local skate park, face painting by Beyond the Faerie Tree, bouncy castles, Pedalmania, competitions being run by Cheapskates Skate Skool, live music and more!

A great way to introduce children and young people to skating with free gear hire, music, prizes and coaching from experienced skaters.

A sausage sizzle will be on site, but also bring your own picnic and make an evening of it.

This is a relaxed environment which allows participants to give it a go, cheer friends and family on and ease their way into skateboarding! Something for all abilities!

There is a Learn to Skate aspect where participants can hire a skateboard or inline skates as well as safety gear for free and team up with one of Cheapskates Skate Skool friendly instructors and either get some free tips on the basic skills or a helping hand learning some new tricks!

During the evening there will be a fun competition with two divisions (enter on the day);
