Join Alec Hay who's passion for whisky grew out of a youthful quest to discover his roots, he spent his OE in Scotland touring distilleries before beginning work in the Whisky industry on Edinburgh’s Royal Mile. After a stint at university studying history, Alec found himself fascinated further by the stories and traditions of Scottish distilling, rediscovering his love for all things whisky. He has been with Whisky Galore for almost 5 years and now also heads up the Scotch Malt Whisky Society in New Zealand.
