Hi and welcome! I have spent 30 years stretching my body via yoga, gymnastics, martial arts and callisthenics. There is a skill and an art to stretching the body properly and with the proper techniques, you may be amazed how much more your body is capable of and how much more open your joints can become and your muscle length and strength can improve. And you can feel amazing and lose weight! These workshops are aimed at students especially of yoga, but anyone athletically inclined to look to improve body balance and performance for their sport. Note it would be ideal if not essential that you have at least a solid 1-2 year background in either yoga, gymnastics, dance, or do a sport where you also stretch a lot as part of your training regime.

The workshops are aimed at people who want to progress from intermediate to advanced levels in the art of stretching. This is an interactive affair, so your input, thoughts and questions or specific pose requests will also be incorporated. The topics will include: Muscle chains and foot to hand stretching; Top half/bottom half body balance; Core with everything; Extensor muscles v contractor muscles; Spinal column dynamics; Deep holds versus shaking loose; Finding the monkey in you!; Feet and hands; Passive v. active stretching. And you will get an awesome workout into the bargain!
