6km Butterfly Fun Run 2021 - Miscarriage Matters NZ

Tickets are now off sale. We have 28 tickets remaining. Cash sales will be accepted on the day from 8:30am until sold out.

Join us for our second annual Butterfly Fun Run. Run (or walk) a fabulous 6km at The Groynes reserve for Baby Loss Awareness Week.

To allow us to run this event at covid alert level 2 we will have two waves. Wave one will start at 9:30am and wave two will start at 9:40am. Sign in is available from 8:30am. Race briefing for all participants will start at 9:10am.

Every registration goes in the draw to win some amazing prizes from our incredible event partners, keep an eye on our Facebook event page for announcements. There is also a prize for our best dressed participant.

This event will help keep vital MMNZ (Miscarriage Matters NZ) services running in our community.

MMNZ is a not for profit organisation and our sole purpose is to be a voice for miscarriage in New Zealand. Our mission is to raise awareness of miscarriage, provide information, deliver care packages and support midwives (and other maternity carers).

8.30am – 9:00am: Late entries
8.30am-9.10am: Sign in
9.10am: Safety Briefing
9.20am: Warm Up
9.30am: Start of the 6km event - wave one (runners/mostly running)
9:40am: Start of the 6km event - wave two (walkers/mostly walking)

Please note the following regarding the running of our event and Covid alert levels:
Level One: Event can go ahead and we do not need separate waves.
Level Two: Event can go ahead but we must have two waves.
Level Three and Four: Event cannot go ahead - refund of ticket and booking fee will be provided.
