Join us for the inaugural Age Concern Auckland Quiz Night Fundraiser! Come along to Browne St for a fabulously fun pub quiz - have a great time and raise funds for vulnerable and isolated older people in our community at the same time. Win-win!
All funds raised will support the essential work of Age Concern Auckland with vulnerable and isolated older people in our community. Our specialised services:
- prevent elder abuse and neglect and move older people to a position of resilience
- maximise the independence and enhance the ability of older people to meet the challenges of their changing needs
- reduce social isolation and loneliness by providing opportunities for social connection and community engagement
- promote positive ageing strategies, so older people can age in place and maintain their quality of life as they get older.
Each year our services directly help over 10,000 older people and we provide crucial information and advice to a further 25,000 older people and their whanau.
Teams can have between 4-8 people. You will need to confirm your team name with us so we can group you on the night.
Food and drink will be available to purchase from Browne St on the night with a contribution from all drinks purchases going towards Age Concern Aucklands. There will also be some great raffles up for grabs!
Attendees must be 18 years of age or older unless accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.
