Ahed Al Naser Rajjoub was born in Quneitra in 1958.
Ahed had a passion for the arts his entire childhood and was fortunate enough to pursue it at the Damascus Faculty of Fine Arts, where he graduated in 1982. His love for the fine arts did not stop there however, as he went on to study art science, gaining his scientific PhD in 1992. Between the years of 1989 and 1990, he participated in three international competitions for the art of poster, the first in Moscow (FOR THE LIFE ON EARTH), the second in Poland (PASING FIFTY YEARS OF THE SECOND WORLD WAR), and the third in Mexico (FOR THE PROTECTION OF NATURE).
Later on, in 1992, Dr Rajjoub was the first Syrian artist invited to St. Petersburg to participate in an exhibition, where his works were reviewed by art critics from the State Hermitage Museum. Throughout the past several decades, Ahed has been exploring art through poster, sculpture and painting, also participating in several exhibitions in different countries. Through his extensive experience and exposure to different fine art mediums, Dr Rajjoub has been able to build a diverse art style, continually exploring modern forms of art through his work as a Professor at the Faculty of Fine Arts, Damascus University.
