Art in the Park

Three local artists, Therese Boustead, Sandie Brown and Christine Doyle, have joined forces to present original artwork in watercolour and oil.

Therese is a local artist with a passion for painting in watercolour. She uses colour to highlight the elegance, delicacy and fragility of New Zealand local and native birds.

Sandie is an accomplished oil painter, capturing the magic of light moving across everyday objects in exquisite still life, seascapes and landscapes.

Chris is a watercolour artist who captures the vibrancy of flowers with her purity in colour.

These wonderful artworks are on display and for sale at the Kiosk, Christchurch Botanic Gardens (Canterbury Horticultural Society building, near the children’s playground and easiest access via the Armagh St carpark), from Friday 9 April to Sunday 11 April 2021, 10 am to 4 pm.
