Austin Morris

Cafe Royale in Square Edge host Austin Morris from 6 – 8 pm on Friday 28 May.

Austin Morris is Marc Paterson, Derek Morris, Mary Hammond, James Greenblatt and Dave Poppelwell.
Their band name reflects the best of British automotive engineering: durable slightly rusted cars that have seen a bit of history and require regular lubrication. The band’s recorded output is sporadic, owing to the intrusion of full-time jobs, and eclectic owing to their wandering minds.

The gig will be an intimate affair drawing on their original recent songs influenced by jazz, blues and gentle pop. There will be a smattering of covers so the audience feel at home.
