Our popular session for babies is breaking out of the library and running once a month at the Bob Scott Retirement Village (Level 4) in Petone.

Join us for intergenerational fun and connection with songs, rhymes, and fingerplays for young and old.

Baby Bounce & Rhyme is a half-hour programme of songs, rhymes and fingerplays especially for pēpi aged 0-2 years and their parent/caregiver.

This session takes place on Level 4.

Building a foundation for literacy starts as soon as a child is born, and every story, song, rhyme or fingerplay strengthens that foundation. Help your child get a head start by joining other parents and their little ones for companionship, fun and interaction.
