Bare Essentials (William Davidson, John Meddings & Tony Stephens) are a trio of Dunedin musicians with a wealth of experience both nationally & internationally. The three have played together in various projects over several decades and the blend of the individual talents is magical. They perform an eclectic blend of well known & not so well known tunes from a wide musical spectrum; all arranged by the band to suit the band & entertain the audience. The polished end result is achieved with little more than vocal harmonies, an acoustic guitar, a maraca and a saxophone.
