This beginners ballet class for adults with dance professional Marianne Schultz is suitable for those with very little or no previous experience in dance and teaches basic ballet techniques in a supportive online environment...
Learn about posture and alignment, co-ordination and musicality whilst improving your fitness and flexibility, gaining an understanding of basic ballet terms and the history of ballet, and having lots of fun!
What to wear:
Please wear stretchy, close-fitting tights/leggings and t-shirts/tops.
Women, please wear your hair tied back off your face and neck (so you can dance without it falling in your face).
Footwear - you can wear sports socks at first (preferably cotton, tight-fitting).
All Zoom links are sent to you automatically after you enrol but if you do not receive a link or are unable to find it please email education@tapac.org.nz
Please try to join the class 5-10 minutes before so that the tutor can sort out any issues and direct you in how to optimise your Zoom settings for a better experience before they get the class started. We recommend that you use a device which has a microphone, speakers and camera for all TAPAC classes. You will be asked at the beginning of each class to turn on your microphone and camera to say hello. After this you may turn off your camera if you choose
