The Pinter, 2 Korora Road, Oneroa, Waiheke Island, Auckland
Monday 8 March 2021 6:00pm – 9:00pm
To mark International Women’s Day (IWD) 2021, The Pinter is hosting a very special and free event:
Being us. Being her. Being Women.
A thought-provoking panel discussion and Q&A will delve into this year’s IWD timely theme: Choose to Challenge. Hosted by leadership development expert Sue Watson, a facilitator with a mission to increase the number and diversity of women leaders in Aotearoa, it will also feature three exceptional and diverse local women – musician Princess Chelsea (AKA Chelsea Nikkel), Pou Tiaki editor Carmen Parahi and life coach and mindfulness facilitator Simone Denny. This multi-talented panel of dynamic women will discuss how they are ‘choosing to challenge’ in their respective fields.
This event will celebrate and acknowledge women past, present and emerging.
The discussion will be followed by drinks (with specials thanks to our event sponsor Kelly Washington Wines!) and music provided by The Sirens.
Together in solidarity, we will share a drink, share stories and celebrate each other. By shining a light on gender inequality and bias, we move closer toward gender parity.
Come share. Be heard. Come listen.
