BMX SCHOOL CHALLENGE

BMX Junior School Challenge - to register through school by 18th March 2021

A chance to compete for your school in a BMX race meeting and an opportunity to try out a new sport. There is no entry fee. A BMX bike is not necessary, any bike will do, mountain bike, or BMX freestyle bike - although the pegs should be taken off trick bikes.

Date: Thursday 25th March 2021

Times: 11:00am - 11:30am (Practice) 12:00pm - 3:00pm (Racing)

Location: Minogue Park, Moore Street, Forest Lake, Hamilton 3200

Full face helmets are compulsory and must be worn by all competitors. The Hamilton BMX Club has some full face helmets available for use at no charge. However, these may need to be shared.

Safety: It is recommended that intending entrants who have not raced or ridden their bikes on a BMX track should have some practice. The BMX track is open at all times, but please remember the above requirements. The Hamilton BMX club should not be held responsible for any accidents, injuries or theft at any time.

BMX club nights are on Wednesdays 5:30 check in, with 6pm fun racing.
BMX training nights are on Monday’s 5.30pm to 6.30pm cost $2 per rider
Riders are welcome to attend for practice.
