Join us for a celebration of all things plants and gardening.

From house plants and succulents to woodlanders, bonsai and bulbs, the Botanical Expo assembles an exciting array of plants together, all under one roof.

Several gardening groups have joined forces to bring their specialities, skills and knowledge – not to mention rare and interesting plants – out of the backyard and into the Lincoln Events Centre for all to enjoy.

Browse the botanical offerings, hit the legendary sales tables and chat to the experienced gardeners and enthusiasts on hand.

With demonstrations, workshops and speakers on offer throughout the weekend, there is something for everyone – a chance to see skills in action, get hands on and learn more.

Other highlights include:
- The entries from Avon Floral Art that will be on display, where participants will be vying for the title of Floral Designer of the Year in order to head to the national competition
- The Daffodil Group (Canterbury Horticultural Society’s Daffodil Circle & South Island Daffodil Society) putting on a show of their best floral beauties
- The New Zealand Alpine Garden Society, who will be on site to share their love and knowledge of small plants, natives, bulbs, perennials and more.

Children are free. Some workshops will take a fee.

More information to come on the weekend’s programme - watch the Botanical Expo Facebook page for more information.
