Te Manawa opens its doors on the evening of 13 February for a disco with a difference. We invite children ages 3-12 to dress up as a bug and come in for a bit of a boogie. Your costume could be as simple as a pair of antennae, or you could go for a full metamorphosis - the choice is yours! We have a number of spot prizes to give away for interesting or clever outfits.

The Bugs! Our Backyard Heroes exhibition will be open for you to look around in too.

The disco is from 6-8pm; entry is by donation. All children must be supervised by an adult. Booking is essential as places are limited; call us on 0800-4-A-MUSEUM or visit our front desk to reserve your children's spots.
