Presented by Dr Bill Kaye-Blake - Principle Economist NZ Institute of Economic Research (NZIER)

We know what resilience is? We don’t know what resilience is?
Regardless, the idea is useful.
NOW more that ever we require resilience. Join us to discover some of Bill’s ideas and suggestions for community leaders and business owners alike.

Bill is a Principal Economist with the NZ Institute of Economic Research (NZIER). His work focuses on the performance of communities, innovations, businesses and public entities. Starting with core concepts from microeconomics, he builds a human-centred understanding of issues and solutions for his clients.

Along with this Bill has published many books including Heartland Strong; which tells the stories of how rural communities change and thrive.

This event is recommended for all business owners/managers, farm owners and rural support services/professionals, and anyone else with an interest and passion in rural communities.

Doors open at 12 noon. A light lunch will be served.

Please note current Delta Level 2 requirements will be observed.

Manawatū Chamber of Commerce and Federated Farmers would like to thank Rural Support Trust for supporting this event.
