Canterbury Folk Music Club Festival: Friday 2nd April to Monday 5th April 2021

Traditional folk, Youth and children’s programme, Ukulele choir, Acoustic guitars, Harmonic voices and Poetry tales will be on the menu as the Canterbury Folk Music Club Festival 2021 resonates over the Easter Weekend.

The festival will run over four consecutive days showcasing a wide range of folk music, from contemporary through bluegrass, Irish and traditional. This year's lineup will celebrate New Zealand artists and the wealth of talent we have here in our country, rich with a depth of talent that we can now explore and enjoy.

Those looking to participate can join the Ceilidh or take part in workshops, listen to concerts, participate in the jam sessions, perform in the blackboard concerts and the extraordinary "Blind Date" concert on Sunday afternoon all in an idyllic setting.

Save the date now for a weekend of folk fellowship.

The 2020 Canterbury Folk Festival was an awesome success, there was a buzz of happiness, the sounds of harmony of instruments and voice around the Waipara Adventure Centre, inspiring workshops, awesome concerts, and the youth band project offered a sense of longevity that the music will carry on, bringing the joy that we have experienced sharing live acoustic music flowing into the musicians of the future.

price”
