Celebrate Children's Books In Wellington

Unity Books and Gecko Press welcome you to a New Zealand Book Awards for Children and Young Adults event.

Panellists, Eboni Waitere, Executive Director at Huia; Chris Szekely, Chief Librarian Alexander Turnbull Library; Bee Trudgeon, Children's Librarian at Porirua Library; Frances Plumpton, Literary Agent; and Briar Lawry, Editor at The Sapling, will pick shortlisted books (not published by them) and talk about what they admire about them. Afterwards there will be an opportunity for author signings.
