Here’s a great opportunity to work with a professional figurative sculptor to learn how to capture the head and face in clay. Use an old method called the 'sight-sized' technique which works by looking at the profiles of the head and face. We’ll break the head and face down into key elements to understand what´s happening with the head. We can use this information and transfer it into the sculpture you make. Your tutor will work alongside you to demonstrate this approach and to help you see what will be discussed.
Outcomes
Take away a life-like clay head and face the skills to do the same again and the memory of a wonderful fun-filled weekend.
